Treatment of water and networks by ultrafiltration

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a physical treatment that consists of filtering water with a filtration threshold of a few nanometers to 100 nm. The pores of these filters are too small to allow the passage of viruses, bacteria and other undesirables that are blocked by the filter. Like UV treatment, UF treatment is a physical treatment which has the additional advantage of filtering all suspended matter, including unwanted matter whose size is greater than the filtration threshold of the membranes.
