Field of application of the SIEBOTEC ballistic mat

The SIEBOTEC ballistic mat or destoner mat is used to remove stones in fractions of biomass, compost, soil, wood, crushed fresh green waste, in the various streams of recycling products, etc.

Description of the SIEBOTEC ballistic carpet

• The SIEBOTEC ballistic carpet is a shorter conveyor belt, the speed of the belt is continuously adjustable as well as the inclination of this conveyor, it is by combining these two settings, speed and inclination that we achieve a very good stone separation rate, which can be collected in a bin placed under the conveyor.
• It is placed in the second part of the refusal evacuation conveyor. The width of the band is one meter and the center distance of the drums is 2 meters. It can be driven hydraulically or electrically depending on the model.
• The conveyor frame is entirely hot-dip galvanized, which avoids corrosive attacks due to acid products.
• Please note that this ballistic mat does not in any way extend the total length of the conveyor because it is mounted on a conveyor that is shorter than the standard conveyor, the total length of waste evacuation remains 5 meters in 2 parts.
• The assembly of the ballistic mat is not compatible with the SIEBOTEC air separator, however it is quite possible to combine a magnetic pulley with a drop slide on the end of the first conveyor and to mount the ballistic mat in the second part , which makes it possible to remove ferrous metals and stones present in the product flow in a single pass.
