The BIO-SUN range for water disinfection in remote areas

The BIO-SUN range is a patented concept which is characterized by a terminal supplied with energy by a photovoltaic panel allowing it to be totally autonomous. This terminal is made up of a filter on a backwashable zeolite bed (extremely efficient technology due to its quality and finesse) and a carbon filter available as an option. Finally, it is equipped with a UV reactor for disinfection and microbiological safety of water allowing human consumption by eliminating waterborne diseases.

This terminal makes it possible to solve the problem of the lack of clean water in isolated areas and therefore ensures access to safe water for disadvantaged rural and peri-urban populations in developing countries in particular.

Functioning

Its use is very simple: just fill the tank with water to be treated, it will be finely filtered to remove organic and suspended matter, then it will be disinfected under the effect of radiation. of the UV-C lamp.

In a few seconds the water is made drinkable and healthy. With a capacity of 2 m3/day and an autonomy of 3 days, the BIO-SUN terminal can produce safe and healthy water for 80 to 100 people per day.
