BIO-UV UV and UV HO range (Low Pressure)
UV reactor for the treatment of fresh water in aquaculture, fish farming, aquariums, ornamental ponds and biological swimming pools - BIO-UV®
The UV and UV HO range for the treatment of fresh water in aquaculture, fish farming, aquariums, ornamental ponds and biological swimming pools
The BIO-UV Group has developed and patented a range of specific reactors for disinfection in fresh water which makes it possible to meet the most stringent requirements both for private individuals (amenity ponds and biological swimming pools) and for professionals (aquaculture, fish farming, aquariums) in order to optimize their operations in complete safety. The 316 L stainless steel range of BIO-UV Group can treat all flow rates.
To date, nearly 10,000 BIO-UV Group reactors process these various applications daily and many reference sites or operators have adopted them to their greatest satisfaction.
The UV HO (Low Pressure) Range for disinfection and dechloramination in Communal and Semi-Collective Pools
BIO-UV Group has developed and patented, since 2003, specific ranges for the disinfection and dechloramination of swimming pools and collective spas at medium and low pressure.
To date, more than 3,500 swimming pools and spas are equipped (municipal swimming pools, campsites, fitness centers, lodges, etc.), including more than 1,200 in France, for the greatest comfort of users, operators and better respect for their health.
With its technological advance, BIO-UV Group was the first company to be approved by the Ministry of Health for medium pressure (MP) dechloramination, and it has also been approved for low pressure (LP and UV HO) since 2013. Thus, BIO-UV Group is now the only manufacturer to be approved for its 2 ranges, medium and low pressure.
Our dechloramination devices are thus authorized for the equipment of pools for collective use, subject to the control of the ARS (Regional Health Agency).
All lines are NSF 50 certified and Cryptosporidium rated. The performance evaluated, which exceeds the requirements of this standard, allows optimal disinfection efficiency to reduce micro-organisms (such as bacteria, viruses, Crypto, Giardia... which are not destroyed by ozone and chlorine at usual doses).
Benefits
- A reduction of up to 75% in the combined chlorine rate to reach an average level of 0.1 to 0.3 ppm
- Reduction in the quantity of water to be renewed: savings of up to 60%, depending on the basins and in compliance with regulations
- Improved air quality for the well-being and health of bathers and staff
- Optimization of heating and dehumidification costs
- Quick and easy installation, simple maintenance
- Amortization of the installation in 9 to 24 months
- Better bathing quality
- Better respect for the environment
- Improvement of the image of the establishment
- Reduced corrosion
- Very effective and safe disinfection thanks to the contribution of UV-C
Advantages
- UV reactors adapted to the flow rates to be treated (0.5 to 1,000 m3/h)
- Reactors taking into account the specific turbidity of the water: guarantee of efficiency for the passage of UV rays
- Power in millijoules offering real efficiency until the end of lamp life and guaranteeing the effective destruction of undesirable microorganisms (in particular certain viruses)
- A permanent follow-up at the service of professionals
- A guarantee of healthy and crystal clear water
- No use of chemical substance
- Simple design for easy maintenance
- Quick and easy installation
- No danger to fauna and flora
- Absolute respect for the environment
Functioning
The reactors located on the filtration circuits treat each passage and continuously the flow considered according to the indicated turbidity and transmittance. All micro-organisms are thus eradicated without any addition of chemicals. The water is thus healthy and perfectly crystalline.
