The local UMFS shredder unit is not a stand-alone unit. It is part of a one-way grinding system (OWMS) which includes a tank equipped with a pump, and acts as a collection interface.

to an OWMS system control cabinet for

It has been specially designed to treat solid waste such as bones, fish skins, shells of seafood.

The grinding units are positioned according to the logistical organizations of the future kitchen. They provide opportunities to get rid of waste at source, without moving or additional handling. Once dumped into these secure devices, the waste is crushed and transformed by adding water (220 ml of water for 1 kg of waste) into a fluid and homogeneous mixture, easily transportable by suction. The collection interface units can be integrated into the furniture according to the wishes of the operator.
