BIO-UV DW range
ACS UV certified UV reactor for water purification - BIO-UV®
BIO-UV DW RANGE (CERTIFIED ACS UV)
The BIO-UV reactors of the DW range have been developed to strictly meet the needs of drinking water production.
They make it possible to disinfect raw water (boreholes, catchments, etc.) and to guarantee compliance with the bacteriological quality limits of the water according to the standards in force, before distribution in the AEP (Drinking Water Supply) networks. can also be used as pre-treatment, either to limit the use of oxidizing biocides and therefore oxidation by-products, or to treat specific microorganisms (Cryptosporidium and Giardia in particular).
BIO-UV Group is ACS UV certified in application of article R*.1321-50 (I and II) of the public health code, in accordance with the conditions for the marketing and use of reactors equipped with lamps ultraviolet radiation used for the treatment of water intended for human consumption defined by the Ministry of Health (ministerial decree of October 9, 2012).
Advantages
- High manufacturing quality and high performance in disinfection
- Flame-sterilizable sampling valves, upstream and downstream
- Use of amalgam low-pressure lamps to guarantee performance whatever the water temperature (cold mountain water in particular)
- Dedicated electronic ballasts guarantee maximum UV lamp output and integrated control
- UV control sensor meeting the Austrian ÖNORM standard ensuring the continuous operation of the reactor
- UV intensity LCD display
- Customization of reactors according to installation, operating and maintenance constraints (diameter of flanges, inlet/outlet positioning, etc.)
- Single-ended lamps and patented sealing system for easy maintenance.
Devices that comply with government requirements
In view of the public health challenges represented by water purification, BIO-UV Group offers a UV disinfection system guaranteeing optimal water quality and making it possible to meet the most stringent requirements in terms of water treatment. intended for human consumption.
Benefits
- Treatment simple to implement and operate: it limits chlorine handling and monitoring. It is therefore particularly suitable for rural communities with diversified water resources.
- Physical treatment without modifying the physico-chemical quality of the water: the original taste and smell of the water are preserved, enhancing the image of municipalities concerned about their environment
- UV disinfection allows the treatment of chlorine-resistant parasites that can affect human health
- Economic investment and exploitation
