Environmental acoustics

Environmental acoustics is the field of the study of pollution that takes into account the harmful effects of noise on our ecosystem in order to preserve the well-being and health, both mental and physical, of the inhabitants of this ecosystem. Environmental acoustics deals with underwater noises as well as those emitted in the open air and in constructions on land. Special indicators have been developed to quantify the level of annoyance caused by the various noises coming from human activity.
In order to regulate this noise level, environmental acoustic engineers have thus been able to develop various sound barriers adapted to the noise level to be lowered. These facings absorb disturbing sound, thus allowing those who must hear it to have a more liveable living and working environment from an acoustic point of view.
Who can offer an acoustic measurement service? What parameters should we provide?
What equipment is needed to carry out an acoustic study of noise prevention? Is it possible to rent it? Or is a service possible?
I am looking for an acoustic measuring device, in order to be autonomous in our noise measurements. What do you recommend?
