Cutting mills

Cutting mills are used in waste treatment activities to reduce the volume occupied by collected waste. The cutting mill models can be adapted to different types of waste such as paper and cardboard, rubber, wood or plastic waste.

Cutting mills have a plastic or steel lining, as well as an inlet hopper where the waste to be shredded is placed. They are provided with one or more central shafts on which the knives carrying out the grinding are fixed. Knives are stacked for better chipping efficiency.
Cutting mills are equipped with an electric or hydraulic motor to drive the rotor and the grinding system.
