Is the use of a grinder specific to a type of product or can it be adapted to different products?

Answer :

As a general rule, shredders are designed and adapted for a single type of material to be shredded (plastic shredder, archive shredder, metal shredder, …).

If used for a different application than the original, the grinder may experience a drop in flow, faulty operation or even an overload dangerous for the life of the equipment.

A study must be carried out upstream to validate or even optimize the shredder so that it can process the desired material without problems.

The supplier therefore finds the best compromise to process the different materials to be ground in the customer's machine.
