The Europe Chippers EC1290 wafer crusher is designed for the production of quality wafers . It treats trunks (up to 90 cm in diameter), logs, branches, prunings, sawmill waste, bark, fagots, etc. The insert is homogeneous with no excess lengths, it is possible to produce of the G30, G50, G100, G120 and G150.

Description of the Europe Chippers EC1290 chip mill

The Europe Chippers EC1290 shredder is driven by an 800 hp CATERPILLAR C18 engine. Production capacity up to 250 m3/H depending on the product and the working conditions.

Technical characteristics

• Has a feed table with four rows of very aggressive chains which prevents sand and stones from entering the grinding chamber, this table is self-regulating
• Bottom feed roller is 1200mm wide
• Top roll is 1200mm wide
• The two vertical rollers are 900 mm high, they all have very aggressive hooks
• The rotor is a heavy duty rotor 1200mm in diameter and 1200mm wide
• It is equipped with 2 rows of 2 knives that can be easily replaced and resharpened several times
• The counter-blade is replaceable and can be used 4 times per 90° rotation
• The rotation speed of the rotor is 500 rpm, it is driven by high performance trapezoidal belts
• The granulometry of the insert is adjustable according to the position of the knives in relation to the counter blade, the feed speed and by the calibration grid
