The HUSMANN HFG2 electric shredder is specially designed for shredding green waste, branches, prunings, bark, wood, trunks up to 18 cm in diameter. The crushed and defibred material will have a suitable use for composting, mulch, for boiler rooms, spreading and volume reduction.

Description of the HUSMANN HFG2 Electric Shredder

• The HUSMANN HFG2 green waste shredder is a fast hammer shredder driven by a 45 kW cage electric motor.
• Transmission to the rotor by high performance trapezoidal belts.
• Rotor engagement by progressive tensioning of the belts.
• No-stress system stopping the power supply in case of overload.
• Hopper opening: width of 1200 mm and length of 2500 mm optional (1500 mm as standard).
• Height upper edge of hopper in relation to the ground 1300 mm.
• Feeding by metal apron with chains of 780 x 1250 mm.
• Feed roller fitted with driven hooks with floating position during work.
• The HUSMANN HFG2 green waste shredder has a heavy rotor 750 mm in diameter, equipped with 16 replaceable mass tool holders on which the tools with tungsten carbide inserts are bolted.
• Rotor width 750 mm.
• High inertia rotor for maximum kinetic energy allowing excellent defibration.
• Rotor rotation speed 1500 rpm. It is also possible to mount blades with wedges on these tool holders.
