The HUSMANN HFG5 fixed electric fast shredder is specially designed for shredding green waste, pruning branches, prunings, clippings, bark, trunks up to 30 cm in diameter but also waste from sawmills, pallets, reclaimed wood, agricultural waste, straw, A-wood, etc.
The crushed and defibred material will have a suitable use for composting, mulch, for boiler rooms, spreading and volume reduction.

• The HUSMANN HFG5 wood chipper is driven by a 250 kW (340 hp) electric motor.
• Easily accessible large surface radiator limits the risk of overheating.
• Transmission to the rotor by high performance trapezoidal belts.
• Rotor engagement by progressive pressure of the belts.
• Electronic regulator with automatic control optimizing the operation of the crusher.
• Feeding hopper opening: 2000 mm wide, 4800 mm long and 850 mm deep.
• Height of the upper edge of the hopper from the ground: 2100 mm.
• Feeding by metal apron with chains of 1500 x 4000 mm.
• Feed roller equipped with driven hooks, lifting and floating position during work.
• The HUSMANN HFG5 shredder has a heavy rotor 1000 mm in diameter, equipped with 42 replaceable mass tool holders on which the tools with tungsten carbide inserts are bolted, total weight of one tool 15 kg.
• Rotor width 1500 mm.
• High inertia rotor for maximum kinetic energy allowing excellent defibration.
• The rotor rotates at a speed of 1000 rpm. It is possible to mount blades on the tool holders.
