Description of the Europe Chippers EC1175 shredder

The EUROPE CHIPPERS C1175 wood chipper is driven by a 520 HP, 630 HP or 770 HP CATERPILLAR engine. Production capacity up to 160 m3/H depending on the product and the working conditions.

Technical characteristics

• Has a feed table with three rows of very aggressive chains which prevents sand and stones from entering the grinding chamber, this table is self-regulating
• The bottom feed roller is 335mm in diameter and 940mm wide
• Top roll is 756mm and 868mm wide
• The two vertical rollers are 335 mm in diameter and 810 mm in height , they are all equipped with very aggressive hooks
• The rotor is a heavy duty rotor 940mm in diameter and 950mm wide
• It is equipped with 6 knives that can be easily replaced and resharpened several times
• The counter-blade is replaceable and can be used 4 times per 90° rotation
• The rotation speed of the rotor is 650 rpm , it is driven by high performance trapezoidal belts .
• The granulometry of the insert is adjustable according to the position of the knives in relation to the counter blade and by the calibration grid
• Behind the rotor is this calibration grid which is easily interchangeable
• The pad exhaust blower is driven by the rotor shaft
• The angled nozzle can be rotated 360° by hydraulic control and radio control
